I’m currently working with a leading UK Commercial Property company, seeking a talented and motivated Facilities Management Operator.

As a Facilities Management Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction for both our internal and external stakeholders. With a focus on monitoring service performance, managing inquiries, and contributing to compliance requirements, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Management (FM) team.

Job title: Facilities Management Operator 

Location: Birmingham City Centre

Employment type: Full time, Monday to Friday

Working type: Hybrid working

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

Key duties of the role:

  • Provide first-level support for facility-related issues, responding promptly to service desk inquiries and incidents.
  • Log and prioritise service requests, ensuring accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate timely resolution of facility-related problems and maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor and manage facility management software systems to track work orders, service requests, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with personnel to ensure efficient and effective resolution of facility issues.
  • Communicate with building occupants to gather information on reported problems and provide timely updates on the status of service requests.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of facility management processes and procedures to address user inquiries accurately.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of service desk procedures and documentation.
