Position Summary
The Facilities Management Team deliver front line operational FM, Construction and Project Management for both NW London Commercial and Car Giant’s variety of Property portfolio.
The successful candidate will take a lead role within the FM Team encompassing, but not limited to;
- Lead and support your team to deliver operational excellence for the Department
- Take a lead role in ensuring a consistent cost-effective approach and value for money
- Manage third party Contractors and Suppliers
- Build professional relationships, lines of communication and ensure governance where required with both internal and external stakeholders
- With the wider FM team, ensure that FM services and Projects adhere and are managed to company objectives / standards, commercial agreements / contracts / expectations and are compliant with Statutory Regulations
- Support the successful delivery of front-line operational Hard/Soft FM, Construction and Project Management services for North West London Commercial and Car Giants overall property portfolio
- Feed into the Departments delivery of strategic Facilities and Project Management

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
- Proven work experience in similar roles and knowledge of FM, Construction and Project Management
- Demonstrable training / qualifications to support essential skills required within this role
- Excellent communication skills, problem solving, great attention to detail and a robust mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines in high pressure and high performing environments
- Suitable and sufficient understanding of Health & Safety / CDM Legislation and building systems compliance
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Capable of delivering operational results as well as producing strategic thinking / visioning
- Well versed in stakeholder management
- Flexible / adaptable
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Excellent customer service and team building skills
- Ability to effectively work as part of a team and have a genuine desire to assist colleagues
- Effective at planning, monitoring and reviewing
- IT literate and well versed in Microsoft products
- Strong written, numeracy, verbal communication and organisational skills
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, urgency and follow through
- Full UK manual driving licence
Desirable
- FM Qualification – IWFM Level 3 or above
- Project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2 and / or APM)
- IOSH and / or NEBOSH qualifications
- Any other demonstrable training / qualifications to support the essential skills required within this role
