Job description The Faculty of Education, Theology and Arts (FETTA) is seeking a Faculty Administrator for a one-year maternity position. The role will be based within the School of Education, focused on support for a portfolio of Undergraduate programmes. Faculty Administrators work as members of a flexible and responsive team, Working collaboratively with academic and professional services staff, we support the efficient delivery of core activities in the student lifecycle. This includes student recruitment, enrolment, engagement, monitoring and assessment. In addition, Faculty Administrators provide support to the delivery of Faculty-specific activities, including servicing meetings, organising events, and liaising with external organisations and individuals. Ideal candidates will have experience of programme administration within a Higher Education organisation, or equivalent / similar. Experience of providing administrative services and support to variety of stakeholders both internal and external is essential, as is knowledge / experience of supporting the student life cycle and student records. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to prioritise, organise, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You will have good IT skills, with demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office applications, and be a competent user of work-related databases. You will be a flexible team player and have proven ability to use your initiative to resolve work-related issues appropriately.
