Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Support Worker to join a Children in Care team based in Nottingham.
Umbrella Rate: GBP15.79 per hour
Duration: 3 months initially
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am 5pm, 37 hrs/week
Family Support Worker role: Full JD Available
- Direct work with Children, Young People and their Families
- Facilitate and supervise family time with looked after children and their families
- Make an observation of the family time for social workers assessment
- Work with the families to resolve any behavioural and emotional issues that may arise from Contact
- Immediately report and record any safeguarding concerns
- Provide advice and guidance to parents where needed on things such as child development, guidance on play
- Build strong and trusting working relationships with the children, families and all staff
- Ensure that the Child s Contact Record is complete with sufficient information
- Maintain records of work and write reports
- Attend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessary
Essential Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification
- Must have experience as an Early Help/Family Support Worker holding and working through a caseload
- Must have experience completing Team around the family meetings and Early Help Assessments
- Experience of writing and producing reports
- Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS registered to the update service
