Form of workFamily Support Worker - Children in Care - NottinghamAre you a passionate, dedicated Family Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Support Worker to join a Children in Care team based in Nottingham.Umbrella Rate: £15.79 per hourDuration: 3 months initiallyHours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm, 37 hrs/weekFamily Support Worker role: Full JD AvailableDirect work with families who are going through a variety of issuesAct as their first point of contact on behalf of Family SupportProvide a range of targeted services and Family Support work to help them overcome difficulties, so they are able to thrive, live and engage happily in their communitiesEnsure that all support given to the mother, father or carer giversCompleting assessmentsComplete 1:1 support plan (and/or other agreed Outcomes) to establish a baseline, agree outcomes with family, and review and track progress against agreed outcomes regularlyLeading team around the family meetingsWork with practitioners from other agencies so that vulnerable families receive consistent, coordinated support that is centred around their needsUnderstanding the complexities of MH, drug and alcohol use, domestic abuse, extra familial harm and harmful practices impacts on our children and familiesUnderstanding of the challenges that impact children and their familiesComplete case notes and service plans for each family in a timely manner on the appropriate systemAttend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessaryEssential RequirementsRelevant professional qualificationMust have experience as an Early Help/Family Support Worker holding and working through a caseloadMust have experience completing Team around the family meetings and Early Help AssessmentsExperience of writing and producing reportsExcellent communication skills, both written and interpersonalExcellent time management and organisational skillsYou Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UKEnhanced DBS registered to the update serviceWe also offer an outstanding referral scheme for any Family Support Worker friends or colleagues.If you are a Family Support Worker and would like to express your interest, please contact us for this great opportunity by calling on (phone number removed) and speak to Sammy Davis Or email on,Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer
