Job description

THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail oriented, organised and motivated individual to join our team as a Fashion Intern. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced individual with a track record of success, looking to further their career. You will make up part of a UK-based company with a global mindset, striving for our online community to be a place of total inclusivity, as well as a movement of people who dress, think and act outside the box of normalcy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the product tech and design team where needed.
  • Inspecting and measuring samples prior to fit meetings, logging measurements on server.
  • Take fit meeting notes and directly update specs.
  • Communicating by email with factories
  • Reporting findings to the wider team
  • Organising samples and rails to ensure optimum productivity within the department
  • Updating logs and in house systems
  • General tidying and upkeep of the department
  • Maintain the fabric and trim library, and reference systems.

  • Strong interest in the fashion sector
  • Great organisational skills
  • Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Clear and competent communication skills
  • Microsoft Office and general IT skills
  • Passion, confidence, self-motivation, and tenacity
  • Proactive and solution led
  • Decisive and able to manage and prioritise own workload
  • Great teamwork skills

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for what Disturbia is aiming to achieve as an organisation and the ability to be decisive, open, and specific, whilst promoting acceptance, inclusion, and respect.

They should be dynamic in their approach as they will need to react quickly to ever changing environments.
