This service is in Lemington (Newcastle) and for this role we are recruiting FEMALE Support Workers who can drive and have access to their own vehicle only.
Our in-house Learning Disabilities Trainer will ensure you have the competencies and specialist learning disabilities training for your role.
Pay: £11.00 p/hr (8am-10pm) / £8.21 p/hr for 10-hour sleep-in support (10pm-8am)
Working on shifts, paid from start to finish.
Mileage - 40p per mile

As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will be based in Lemington, supporting a very sociable woman in her 60s to live a happy and fulfilled life, participating in local community activities such going out for meals, having coffee, shopping, walking her small dog, and taking trips away. She loves card making, arts and crafts and listening to music. You will support this individual to learn independent living skills such as managing a tenancy, cooking, and cleaning.
LIFE by Be Caring is looking to recruit experienced Support Workers to join a newly established Independent Supported Living (ISL) service in the Lemington (NE15) area of Newcastle. As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will be part of an integral team providing tailored person-centered care to our tenants which is both meaningful and wellbeing focused.

14-hour shifts (8am-10pm) + sleep-in hours - Full 24hr shifts
