Field Application Engineer with strong knowledge of software engineering and broadcast media (video processing / compression) required by leading London based multimedia technology development company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented engineer with strong customer facing skills, looking to advance their technical career and support the rollout of cutting-edge technology with industry-leading customers. As a Field Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting supporting customers in implementation media workflows and video encoding/decoding, especially in OTT/broadcast media and online video spaces.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead account calls to capture technical requirements for project deployment and ensure effective communication with customers and partners.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop proposals and assess the feasibility of integration projects.
• Provide technical support throughout the deployment process, including debugging and issue resolution.
• Contribute to project planning, architecture, and design sessions to ensure successful implementation and delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Foundational knowledge of C++, or another programming language is essential
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical support OR engineering role, preferably supporting Video Encoding / IPTV / OTT solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effectively interacting with customers and presenting technical information.
