Your Role:
The Field Service Team installs, commissions, troubleshoots and repairs Flowserve’s pumps and equipment for our customers in industries such as oil and gas, chemical, nuclear, coal, and waste water industries. In this position you will schedule and coordinate the day to day operations of the Field Service team as demanded by the clients and in line with the business processes
- Support the FST team to identify with them the potential hazards at site, and ensure these details are timely shared with the Onsite Services SHEA Manager.
- Complete Field Service Aftermarket Portal (AMP) scheduling actions as defined within Field Service process, to ensure that Field Service technicians are able to execute their work instructions.
- Provide work instructions to the Field Service technicians, to include all relevant job details, including drawings, bills of materials, historical reports and customer information.
- Review timesheets and reports for completeness and approve to enable administration function completion.
- Direct interface with Subcontractors, vendors and any supplier working at site with our Field Service Technician for critical jobs.
- Support the FST Supervisor on preparing the financial and utilization forecast.
- Provide necessary documentation to Sales and Administration to enable clients invoice to be raised.
Your Profile:
- Experience in mechanical Field Service environment required.
- Knowledgeable of the process involved in the removal, repair, and installation and commissioning of pumps and their associated equipment desirable.
- Experience in the chemical, power, and/or oil and gas industries.
- Capability to schedule field technicians in a dynamic environment.
- Possesses a collaborative style that encourages the free flow of communication, removes obstacles, and promotes problem solving and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively and professionally both orally and in writing.
- Experience in project planning for complex jobs or events highly valued.
- Capable in Outlook, Word and Excel and other IT systems/processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
