Are you looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills and make a difference? Our client, a well-established organisation, is seeking two dedicated individuals to join their Overpayments team on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to the day-to-day operation of the Overpayments team, providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Make decisions on the recoverability and collection of overpayments, taking into account individual financial circumstances and following established procedures.
• Negotiate repayment plans with overpayment recipients, monitor and review payment progress.
• Review and reclassify overpayment subsidy classifications to comply with statutory obligations and maintain accurate financial and statistical records for the organisation.
• Stay up to date with current legislation, guidance, and best practises to ensure compliance and provide informed solutions.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
• Able to make informed decisions and negotiate effectively.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
