Finance Administrator
Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Finance Administrator to administer the day to day finance functions including administration responsibilities and provide support to the Finance Manager.
Job Duties:
- Maintain purchase and sales ledgers, accurate transaction entry and monthly reconciliations.
- Processing Purchase Orders.
- Creation of new Supplier and Customer accounts in accordance with company policy.
- Monitor and update customer credit limits.
- Liaise with internal and external teams to arrange despatch/transportation and invoicing as necessary.
- Ensuring supplier invoice and/or statement queries are resolved in a timely manner.
- Effective documentation control both internally and externally.
- To assist in any other area of finance as and when required by the Finance Manager.
- Monitor aged debt and carry out any necessary credit control actions.
- Issuing customer statements.
- Creation of Payroll Journals when necessary.
- Scanning of documents to maintain records.
- Support the administration of transport functions to deliver cost efficient methods resulting in adherence to lead times.
Requirements:
- Basic accounting role covering purchase ledger and basic accounts duties.
- Ability to proactively contribute to the finance core process helping the department to meet targets and deadlines.
- Effective communicator.
- Intermediate / advanced Excel Skills.
Working hours: 3 days a week Tuesday to Thursday hours to suit.
Salary: Competitive.
