Reed Accountancy have partnered exclusively with a newly formed Educational Trust to recruit for an experienced Finance Administrator to join their finance team in Cheltenham.
This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of their Central Service Team, giving you exposure to other areas of the business. You will work closely with the CFO and school business managers to ensure that the budget is managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing financial transactions (invoices, expenses, and receipts).
• Reconciling financial statements.
• Inputting payroll journals / corrective journals.
• VAT returns.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
• Handling financial data entry and recordkeeping.
• Generating financial reports.
• Coordinating with schools for financial information.
• Assisting CFO with annual audit and preparation of paperwork.
• Credit control.
• General office / administrative duties.
• Handling and resolution of internal or external queries.
• Provide support to the CFO in the implementation of key business projects.
Experience and Skills
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
• Proficiency in using accounting software
• Excellent communication Skills
• Accuracy in reporting financial information
• Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload
This role is fully office based during term time (with free parking on site), with work from home available during school holidays.
37 hours per week (30 hours could also be considered)
