Uniserve is looking for a talented Finance Analyst to join it’s Unieurope team in Tilbury, Essex. If you have a passion for financial reporting and analysis, we want to hear from you.
The role will office-based Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Manager in financial and management reporting.
- Generate timely and accurate financial management information, including weekly and monthly P&L reporting.
- Maintain cost provisions and accrual information.
- Reconcile cost and revenue accounts.
- Provide valuable analysis and insights into specific business unit performance.
- Ensure compliance with site standards, corporate policies, and financial controls.
- Offer holiday cover and assistance to the local Transport Finance Team.
- Help develop standardised reports and processes.
- Contribute to business projects, including the implementation of new site-specific contracts for warehousing and transport.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with team members and stakeholders across the site and the broader organisation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Preferred previous experience in financial reporting.
- Strong analytical background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI would be advantageous.
- Effective, informative communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- A commitment to driving continuous improvement.
