About the Role
Are you a driven finance professional with a passion for analysis? We're seeking a Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team in Coventry. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting key business areas including Purchasing, Stock Control, and more. No two days will ever be the same, You'll have the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally and make a tangible impact on our financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive month-end processes: Analyse financial data, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Cost analysis and control: Track Bill of Materials (BoM) cost movements, validate cost variations, and support capex spend analysis.
- Forecasting: Collaborate on resource allocation and overhead forecasting to guide strategic decision-making.
- ERP systems expertise: Create budget codes in Epicor and maintain spending approval routes.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, Facilities, and other departments to optimise financial processes.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: preferred 3 years in a management accounting role.
- Qualifications: Actively pursuing ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent Excel proficiency, and the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
