Your role:As Newsprinters Analyst your role will be an essential part of the Newsprinters finance team, reporting directly into the Newsprinters Senior Finance Manager - Press Centres.
Day to day you will:
Input into the weekly and monthly reporting process for Press Centre costs to be recharged to shareholders. This will include, but is not limited to, production consumables, facilities and people costs.
Review and completion of month end submissions including contributing to the Board Pack
Ownership of Budget and Outlook processes for Press Centre costs
Effective business partnering across the sites to connect with stakeholders - some travel to print sites to meet with stakeholders is required
Responsibility for consignment stock recharge process
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and timely resolution of queries
Flagging and risks and opportunities
Additional work supporting the wider Newsprinters Finance team will be required
What we are looking for from you:
Actively studying ACCA,CIMA or equivalent
Communicating effectively across a wide range of stakeholders including Directors, Senior Managers and with all levels of staff
Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data across multiple systems
Passionate about the work you do, embracing every opportunity to do your best work
Principled in the way you go about your role and the decisions you make
Purposeful with a strong desire to achieve and deliver work to a high standard
Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, simplification and efficiencies
