Job Summary:
The Commercial Finance Analyst, reporting to the Head of Controlling, will support the Business by providing financial and data analysis. Collaborating closely with the Sales Director, this role drives revenue and EBITDA, focusing on leading projects and profit initiatives within the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Reporting:
- Analyse Brand revenue and profitability.
- Attend regular trading and sales meetings.
- Support costing processes and CPI calculations.
- Prepare key sales performance indicators.
- Evaluate promotional effectiveness.
- Act as a Business Partner for the Marketing team.
Budget & Forecast Reporting:
- Lead preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Drive "bottom up" Budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide strategic input into the direction of the UK business.
- Conduct scenario analysis.
Systems:
- Support implementation of new sales forecasting system.
- Contribute to roll-out of global systems and processes.
Training & Performance Management:
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Generate insights to support procurement strategies.
- Build personal development plans.
