Finance Analyst & Senior Finance Analyst

One of Darlington's largest and longest established leaders in their field, with a deserved reputation for being a super place to work with an impressive benefits package, is looking to appoint to two roles - a Finance Analyst and a Senior Finance Analyst.
Your new role
Supporting the Accounting function you will have specific responsibility for:-
Finance Analyst:

• complex bank reconciliations
• processing payments
• cash flow forecasting
• data input of key financial data
• continually looking to improve/streamline processes and controls

Senior Finance Analyst:-

• as above and to include
• balance sheet reconciliations
• month-end close processes
• journal review & approval

You will also be working closely with and providing information to both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be studying towards your AAT or ACCA qualification and will already have experience of working within a finance environment, ideally specifically within banking and/or treasury.

• able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Debits & Credits and the use of T-accounts
• confident with Journal entries
• used to working to regular deadlines
• managed large cashflow forecasting and cash payment processes
