The Role:
As a Finance Analyst, you’ll play an important part in the finance team and be responsible for all aspects of Stock Accounting.
As our Finance Analyst within Stock, you’ll interact with a number of different departments on a daily basis so it is vital that you are able to translate financial concepts into digestible information.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Stock Business Partner with the preparation of the monthly stock postings.
Help prepare month end journals and control sheets. Also, help check and maintain stock ledgers.
Support the Stock BP in responding to queries from the operations and commercial Finance teams.
Provide auditors with audit deliverables to support stock audits.
Partner with the Stock BP with the continuous improvement of stock accounting processes.
This is a hybrid-based opportunity with true flexibility to work from home, but you should be within commutable distance of our newly refurbished offices in Crick, Northamptonshire

Skills and competencies
Studying towards becoming fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
Excellent excel skills or Google Sheets.
Analytically-minded with experience of working alongside stakeholders.
Experience of maintaining records and databases.
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, Financial Accountant, Finance Accountant, Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, Stock Accountant, Stock Analyst, Construction, Building Merchants, Building Products.
