Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Junior Finance Analyst to join our finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial documentation and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, with 75% of the role dedicated to administrative tasks and 25% to financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  Administrative Tasks (75%)

  
  
  
  
  • Rechecking all capital expenditure (capex) forms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  
  
  • Ensuring all forms comply with company policies and guidelines.
  
  
  • Following established procedures and guidelines for form management.
  
  
  • Preparing and distributing weekly financial reports.
  
  
  • Fault-finding and resolving discrepancies in reports.
  
  
  
  


• 
  

  Financial Analysis (25%)

  
  
  
  
  • Posting three financial journals accurately and in a timely manner.
  
  
  • Analysing financial data to support the senior finance team.
  
  
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in finance and analysis is ideal but not essential. We are open to very strong administrators with intermediate Excel experience.

  • Strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
  
  
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including the ability to use functions and formulas for data analysis.
  
  
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  
  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  
  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
