SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Nuneaton based manufacturing business, leaders in their field, in the recruitment of a Finance Analyst.

Working within a newly established division and liaising closely with core finance, this role will move away from month end and core finance processes to join a team offering financial insight and analysis to the wider business.

Key duties:
• Analyse current and past financial data and performance.
• Evaluate capital and revenue investment projects with respect to financial returns.
• Develop predictive financial models to support organisational decision-making.
• Analyse processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins.
• Establish benchmarks for financial processes.
• Study industry-specific research and available data to predict trends.
• Create written reports that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals.
• Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis.

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications.
• Excellent reporting, presenting and communication skills.
• We are seeking a part qualified accountant with strong analytical skills together with strong systems acumen. Experience with Power BI would be beneficial but not essential.
• A strong ability to business partner and build relationships with the wider finance team and operations is essential.
