We are looking for a Finance and Business Support Lead to join the Security team within the Digital, Data Technology and Security (DDTS).
In Defra Group Security (DgS) you will be the lead in supporting the Senior Security Advisor and Security Risk Owner (SRO) with financial advice across the security department. This will include providing monthly reports relating to the financial performance of the Defra team to ensure that expenditure is in line with spending review targets.
This is an engaging role with a very particular skill set which requires a high level of analytical skill and a key eye for detail. You will be working closely with Finance Business Partners and other finance colleagues across DDTS to find a working solution to complex and multifaceted issues. This is an influential and pivotal role where you can expect to work across Defra Group Security, DDTS and Defra. You will need to be able to explain complex aspects of Finance and provide expert advice and recommendations, anticipating, evaluating and highlighting key risks along the way. This role requires a security clearance.
