This large public sector organisation based in Durham have a need for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the Treasury function on a minimum 6 month fixed term contract with the potential of longer term beyond that.
Your new role
This a business facing function, supporting the organisation as a whole and at all levels with respect to Treasury Services.
Ensure that all amounts received and paid are accounted for accurately and reconciled to the bank account on a timely basis.
Liaise with the bank as required where there are queries.
Operate the online banking facility to execute bank transactions e.g. CHAPs and non GBP payments.
Operate the direct debit facility for donations.
Answer queries arising from a variety of stakeholders.
Any other duties required in the context of Treasury services.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven finance administration including payments / treasury or banking are essential to this role.
