Finance Assistant

Walters People are currently partnering with a established Global business based in Trafford Park who are looking for an ambitious candidate to join their finance team on a permanent basis. The successfull candidate will either have a degree in Accounting and Finance and/or have experience working in a busy finance team.

Location: Eccles, Manchester

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 (full study support for ACCA/CIMA)

This role will offer you a 12 month training plan as an Accounts Assistant that will expose you to areas of transactional finance and Management Accounts.

Duties:

• Assisting with the maintenance of financial records
• Supporting the completion of monthly financial reports
• Handling day-to-day transactional accounting activities
• Collaborating with the team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budget
• Ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and promptly
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department

Requirements:

• Applications for this role are open to an Accounting and Finance Graduate or a candidate who has experience working in a busy finance team who may be looking to develop onto the ACCA or CIMA standards.
• Numerate and accurate
• Experience working to deadlines
• Good communication skills
