Finance Assistant

Reed Accountancy are working with a dynamic and exciting market leader to assist in the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.

As the Accounts Assistant you will be an AAT Qualified accountant with previous experience of working in an accountancy support role who has a keen eye for accuracy and detail and good communication skills.

Based in central Southampton.

Easily commutable by Public Transport and with parking on-site.

As the Accounts Assistant you will be assisting with the data entry, reconciliation and book- keeping functions within the Accounting Department. As well as getting involved in and supporting the team with various other projects when required.

To be successful as the Accounts Assistant you will ideally have:

• Sound knowledge of Excel and Sage accounting software.
• AAT Qualification or part qual.
• Experience of all round book-keeping.
• High accuracy with data-inputting.
• An ability to work independently and alongside team members.
• Diligence and professionalism in your work and attitude.
• Professional and clear communication skills.

In return as the Accounts Assistant the company are offering:

Salary: £24,000-£28,000 approx. (depending on your experience.)
Hours: In office: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
