Finance Assistant

Secondary school finance team requires an experienced Ledger Clerk / Finance Assistant to cover for a vacant post on site. Initially 4-6 weeks, due to the immediate nature of this role we will require someone who already has a DBS, ideally on the update service and education experience. Full time role, although part time or reduced hours would also be considered pro rata.

You will:
Help manage day to day tasks in a busy school finance team working with the finance manager.
Liaise with many members of staff across the school.
Purchase Ledger, coding invoices and credit control.
Making sure financial records and procedures are well kept.

Any previous qualifications like AAT would be handy but not essential, experience however would be. Systems experience like Sage Education, FMS, corero, PS financials or Access Dimension would be great.

The school is easily accessed by the Woodford junction of the North Circular (plenty of parking available) or the overground from Central London to Chingford
