SalaryFinance Assistant – Newmarket – 20-25 hours per week
Our client based in Newmarket is searching for a Finance Assistant to join their well-established firm on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will hold basic accounts knowledge and have strong data skills. This position is for a minimum of 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
Finance Assistant Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weekly and monthly finance and commercial reporting
- Support the fixed asset register
- Supporting the Credit Control team
- Support the Management Accountant during month end
- Managing cash flow
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Key Skills:
- Confident working with spreadsheets
- Be analytical and have good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Moderate excel skills
- Basic accounts knowledge
- Have or working towards AAT is desirable but not essential
