Finance Assistant

Our client, a fast growing Housebuilder, is looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join their Head Office in High Wycombe.

The ideal candidate will have construction (housebuilding) experience and used COINS in a recent role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overseeing the AP process across the Group and assisting regional teams with troubleshooting.
• Facilitate payments across the Group for both purchase and subcontract ledgers.
• Cashbook and bank reconciliations for all Group bank accounts.
• Controls recurring (e.g. PAYE/NI) and ad-hoc payments required by the business.
• Work with Sales Director in updating weekly house completions roadmap.
• Reconcile house completion statements and book revenue for the Group.
• Prepare and submit Housing Association invoices.
• Prepare weekly short-term cashflow forecast for the Group.
• Process and pay expenses for Central region.
• Support the Commercial team with reallocation of costs for CVRs.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and investigate any differences.
• Responsible for prepaid cards companywide.
• Support the Land team in reconciling cost ledgers.
• Group credit card reconciliation and postings.
• Support the Group Financial Controller with annual audit preparations and liaise with auditors as necessary.
• Ad hoc analysis as required by the Senior Finance Team and wider business.
• Manage post.
• Manage office supplies ordering.
