DGC Limited -Finance Assistant – Erith

DGC Limited is a leading provider of commercial vehicle rental and contract hire solutions for customers in South East England, operating from depot in Erith. We are looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join our small and friendly finance team of three.

This role is offered on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

The role involves:

• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and input them into the system within expected time periods.
• Record and allocate receipts and payments.
• Supplier statement reconciliation.
• Bank and credit card reconciliation.
• Ensure balances are collected on time.
• Maintain accuracy of the sales and purchase ledgers.
• Monitor finance inbox.
• Deal with queries in a timely manner.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

Skills required:

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent numeracy skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Methodical approach and good eye for detail.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Experience of Sage200 accounts package preferred not essential.

Education:

• A good level of education to include English and Maths Grades A – C.
