JHE & Partners are pleased to be working with a highly regarded and leading business in Leeds as they look to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant. This opportunity will be working 5 days in the office and is a great time to be joining the business as they look to grow. You will be reporting into the Finance Manager ensuring that all administrative support will be delivered efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate for this position will be an organised and dedicated individual with vast experience as a Finance Assistant position or similar. You will need to have 1+ years experience both in Sales and Purchase Ledger at a strong transactional level. My client offers a fantastic culture with lots of company events and great social + an early finish on a Friday!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 3+ years in Finance Assistant position or similar
- Previous experience working in Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Daily bank reconciliations including multi-currency transactions
- Credit Control and cash allocations and weekly production of debtor list
- Working closely with the finance manager
- debtors and creditors
- Purchase ledger duties and responding to supplier queries
- Sales ledger support
- VAT returns
- Experience with XERO or similar
Duties and type of person include:
Working in a small team ensuring all financial duties are completed. This is a very fast-paced role and would require someone from a strong background working in a Finance Assistant position or similar.
