Salary:
£23,000 - £27,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the finance team in day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, performing reconciliations, and maintaining financial records.
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities to contribute to effective financial planning.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to gather financial information and provide insights for decision-making purposes.
- Contributing to the improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assisting with audits and internal controls to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within the product industry.
- A solid understanding of financial principles and practises.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
