Working model: Home working + 2 days a month in London

Job Purpose: You will work closely with the Finance Manager and two Finance Officers to support in day-to-day administration, financial transaction processing & reporting for the HQ and Regional, National and Sectoral Groups. You will often be the first point of contact for the team, responding to external and internal queries to the finance inbox.
Duties:
The successful candidate will be an experienced Finance Assistant, accustomed to
*Acting as the first point of contact for all incoming finance queries via the shared mailboxes and the phone line.
*Updating sales invoices with purchase order numbers.
*Acting as the first point of contact to take/make phone calls for any card payments.
*Chasing debtors and update credit control report frequently.
*Providing Aged Debtors report to the Finance Manager & discuss any potential issues
*Input Group financial transactions in Sage.
*Liaise with Group Budget Managers to obtain supporting documents for all bank transactions.
*Process corrections for Group transactions periodically.
*Support Group Budget Managers on bank payments/bankline as and when needed
*Assist in producing Groups budgets annually.
*Ensure Finance Manager is kept up to date with the Groups Finances.
*Reconcile balance sheet accounts for Group bank accounts monthly.
*Monitor, save (as PDF's) & reconcile group bank account statements.
