Duties include:

• Posting purchase ledger and bank transactions
• Processing payments
• Reconciliation
• Processing invoices and aged creditors
• Posting payroll and journals
• Preparing and posting month end journals
• Preparing accruals and prepayments
• Producing monthly budget variance
• Assisting with management accounts
• Preparing month and year end
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc duties

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will:

• Have previous accounts assistant experience - essential
• Be able to pick up new accounting systems quickly - essential
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team - desirable
• Be reliable and use their initiative - essential
