Our client is seeking a talented individual to handle various accounting tasks and be a key player in their financial operations.
As a Finance Assistant, you will:
? Effectively handle sales and purchase ledger, revenue audit, and financial controls.
? Reconcile payments received, including cash and credit card transactions.
? Post and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
? Investigate variances and liaise with department heads and suppliers.
? Ensure accurate sales invoicing and conduct credit control.
? Assist in improving processes and meeting control objectives.
Skills required:
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to reconcile large volumes of transactions.
Preferably from a hotel background.
Strong computer literacy, numeracy, and system skills (e.g., Sage, Excel).
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Reliable team player with a positive attitude.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proactive and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Professional accounting qualification preferred.
