Finance Assistant

Page Personnel are currently partnering with a reputable manufacturing and production business, based near Rhyl, who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their Accounts Payable team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will manage all aspects of purchase ledger as well as a range of administrative tasks

Description

The Finance Assistant will be responsible for:

• Matching, batching, and coding purchase invoices
• Processing payment runs
• Allocating payments
• Statement reconciliations
• Query resolution
• Bank and cash reconciliation
• CIS reconciliation
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers
• Participating in ad hoc project work
• Financial administration

Profile

The successful Finance Assistant should have:

• A proven track record within a busy accounts role
• AAT L2 or above (desirable)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software (ideally Sage)
• An understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
