Our client in the charity sector have a great opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a small, busy, dedicated finance team, based near Tunbridge Wells. Reporting to the finance manager you will be responsible for:-
- Ownership of the sales ledger, including raising invoices
- Handling any customer queries and supplying copy invoices
- Allocating payments to the correct accounts
- Credit control by phone an email to keep on top of the aged debtors
- Aged debtor reconciliations
- Month end reconciliations
The ideal person will have a minimum of 3 years experience in accounts, with knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, adaptable and a team player, willing to step in and cover for holiday or illness. First rate systems skills including Excel. This role is office based, benefits include free parking, 25 days holiday, study support, pension and healthcare.
