Broad Core Responsibilities:
- Management of the day-to-day accounting records using QuickBooks.
- Bookkeeping including transactional reconciling and posting journals.
- Month end management pack completion, including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Sales invoicing, sales ledger and contract management.
- Purchase ledger, posting invoices and coding transactions.
- Bank payments for suppliers, payroll and expenses.
- VAT return completion.
- Payroll and HMRC administration.
- Ad hoc reporting, query support, clerical and administrative tasks.
- Client and supplier liaison on invoicing matters.
Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting concepts and fundamentals.
- Bookkeeping experience.
- Comfortable with accruals, double entry, deferred revenue / income concepts.
- Experienced with bank payment runs including suppliers and payroll.
- Experienced with assisting with management accounts preparation.
- Used to working with accounting software.
- Proficient with MS Office, specifically MS Excel.
- A diligent and efficient approach.
- Happy communicating directly with customers on invoicing / credit control queries.
- Looking to work remotely.
Ideal:
- Previous experience of customer invoicing for a SaaS B2B business.
- Hold an accountancy qualification AAT / CIMA.
- Experience of working with QuickBooks.
