Finance Assistant Part Time

About the opportunity:

We are working as the internal recruitment partner for an independent, family run business in the caravan and leisure industry.

We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and highly organised Finance Assistantto join the supportive team on a Part Time basis, located in Eye.

The successful Finance Assistantwill be responsible for a wide range of tasks across both purchase and sales ledgers, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts ensuring all transactional data is accounted for and uploading financial data into the accounts system (Sage).

You will be able to demonstrate your problem-solving skills with identifying and rectifying banking discrepancies as well as supporting suppliers in resolving queries.

We are looking for a team player who will be responsive and available to provide support to the wider team as and when required, completing general ad hoc administration tasks.

Requirements

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role.
• Knowledge of Sage would be desirable but is not essential.
• Ability to identify and successfully rectify discrepancies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• A team player who can work well within a team as well as independently.
• Good IT skills with experience of MS Office including Excel.

• A competitive hourly rate of £12.50 per hour.
• Working Hours: 20-25 hours across 4-5 days. (Mondays are a requirement)
• 28 days annual leave pro rata including bank holidays.
