I'm currently recruiting for an HR & Payroll Assistant to join a dynamic team. This role involves providing essential administrative support to both the HR and Payroll departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the business.
Day to day of the role:- Perform data entry and analyse data, such as parking information, for payroll purposes.
- Generate monthly payroll reports.
- Assist with the recruitment process across different sites.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with induction and employment legislation.
- Create induction packs for new starters and support various HR processes for starters, leavers, and other employee-related procedures.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity.
- Work alongside the HR Manager to manage HR administration, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with grievance or disciplinary matters, including taking minutes and managing subsequent meetings.
- Manage sickness/absence reporting and monitor for improvement in line with company policy.
- Support the coordination of employee events and activities to promote a positive work culture.
- Undertake additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a no-nonsense approach.
- Previous HR and/or Payroll experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- IT literacy with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and manage workload.
- Full driving licence.
