Reed are working in partnership with a client in Sherwood and are seeking a Finance Assistant.
This role is permanent, full-time and hybrid working is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice processing using Sage accounting system. Accurately recording expenditure incurred by the business
- Cashbook – transactional processing of all payments and receipts throughout each month by all departments of the business
- Bank reconciliations – monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet to the bank statements received
- Sales invoicing – accurate recording of all revenue steams and issuing appropriate invoices
- Generating payments – using the company’s bank infrastructure to ensure all suppliers are paid in a timely manner
- Assisting in the production of monthly Management Accounts
The Ideal Candidate:
- Wil have AAT Level 3 or working towards this
- Will have great Microsoft experience, particularly Word and Excel
- Will have experience of using Sage
- Will have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Will be a team player
