SalaryThe Trades Union Congress (TUC) is looking for a Finance Assistant to assist the finance team in areas including purchasing, financial accounting, and management accounting.
What qualifications, experience, skills, and knowledge do you need?
- AAT qualified and/or part-qualified in an accountancy qualification.
- High level of IT literacy, especially the ability to use different accounting packages and Microsoft Excel, and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of financial and management accounting and accounts payable.
- Ability to communicate in a timely and effective manner with the finance team, non-finance staff, suppliers, and auditors.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and manage workload effectively.

The closing date for completed applications for this post is Monday 5 February at 12 noon. A timed written test will take place over MS Teams on Monday 12 February and Tuesday 13 February. Interviews will then be held over MS Teams on Monday 19 February and Tuesday 20 February.
