Finance Assistant

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a well established business based in Crawley, West Sussex. The Accounts Assistant will support the Head of Finance with everyday transactional accounting duties such as; credit control, expenses and invoicing, support the Finance division with monitoring and updating cost/spend/budgets spreadsheets, as well as assist with the data admin support for the company.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,500 per annum

Hours: 40 hour working week Mon-Fri

Accounts Assistant duties:

• Sales and purchase ledger invoice processing
• Checking and processing staff expenses
• Updating the budget / costs sheets and checking spend reports against budget
• Credit control
• Assisting the head of finance with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Database administration, setting up new users and administration of workflows

Skills and experience:

• Proven experience working in a similar Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant type role
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Attention to detail
