Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller the successful candidate will be responsible for providing crucial support to the Accounting & Finance Department including;
- Processing of purchase invoices
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- Reconciliation of Supplier Statements and prompt query resolution.
- Processing of employee expenses.
- Supporting with the preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- Journals, prepayments, and accruals.
- Fixed Asset Register.
- VAT returns.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in AR/AP.
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Experience in management accounts.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
