Position: Finance Assistant
Location: Ellesmere Port
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.30pm
Salary: £25,000 + PA + Company related Bonus and additional Company Benefits
Contract: Permanent
HRGO are currently seeking an experienced Finance Assistant for their client based in Ellesmere Port. The role sits within a busy multi-skilled finance team within a large organisation. You will be responsible for the below duties.
Duties:
- Purchase ledger reconciliation and query resolution.
- Daily reconciliation of bank account(s), including posting to sage for any payments and receipts.
- Supporting team with reconciliations and ad hoc tasks towards completion of management accounts.
- Liaising with operations department on any queries that arise.
- Supporting implementation of key financial projects within the company.
- Help test new systems or system enhancements by using tests scripts.
- Developing, maintaining, and updating financial reporting.
- Provide reports to assist with audit of data held.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Advanced Excel Skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables.
- Experience of dealing with large volumes of data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for accuracy and organisation.
- Experience in Microsoft office.
- Experience of Power BI would be advantageous.
