My client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their finance team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company, contributing to the efficient processing of invoices, financial reporting, and general administrative tasks. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for finance to grow their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Day to Day of the role:- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports with accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing documents, organising records, and responding to inquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and other ad hoc reporting as required.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Support the finance department in the preparation of annual audits.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
