Key Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner

• Provide key financial reporting, detailed analysis and insight to assist in commercial decision making
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting exercises.
• Development of new KPI’s around revenue and pricing
• Provide high quality, reliable, and timely analysis
• Drive improvements in financial performance
• Assist in the maintenance of data in key internal systems and ensure data is reviewed and reconciled as required
• Ensure key data in budgeting and practice management systems are maintained accurately
• Undertake profitability analysis at client, matter, work-type, Partner and fee-earner level
• Improve overall understanding of financial KPI's and performance across the business

Skills & Attributes of the Finance Business Partner

• A qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
• Experience gained as a Finance Business Partner
• Strong communication skills with demonstrable experience of working with senior stakeholders up to Partner and/or C-Suite level
• Knowledge and experience of a professional services environment would be highly advantageous
• Organised, analytical, pragmatic, methodical, inquisitive and curious, highly articulate and numerate
• Flexible and adoptable with an ability to work in a rapidly changing business environment
• A team player capable of solving complex issues on his/her own.
