IPS Group are partnered with a Boutique Insurance Business based in Hertfordshire who are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis to work closely with the Group CFO to improve the businesses strategic capabilities, commercial interaction with divisional and executive level stakeholders as well as driving FP&A at its core.
Main Duties:
– To operate as the focal point acting as a bridge between the business and Group/Central Finance.
– Ownership of Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting for three entities.
– Production of MI to provide insight into daily and weekly movements and/or trends.
– To liaise with external audit partners to assist with the smooth completion of the annual audit and complete thr required yearly statutory submissions.
– Carry out Cost-Benefit analysis and expense reviews.
– Support the integration into Instanda.
– Touchpoint oversight of the Technical IBA and Client Money teams (eight individuals).
Candidate Specification:
– Recognised Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Part-Qualified and actively studying toward qualification or Qualified by Experience.
– Previous experience of working in an Insurance Broker or MGA would be beneficial.
– Awareness of Financial Reporting Standards and Accounting Procedures.
– Familarity with Accounting Systems such as Oracle, MS Dynamics or Workday would be useful.
– Excellent communcation skills to liaise with buisness stakeholders and stakeholders within the wider Parent company.
– Any experience of Transformation programmes or projects is desirable.
