We have an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, modern business in Knaresborough as a Receptionist & Administrator on a full time basis, working a fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave. There is plenty of prospect for this position to go permanent for the right candidate and may have the potential for promotion into a more senior role upon completion of the assignment. You will be joining a team that has a real buzz about it, and you will take responsibility for providing front end support to clients and internal members of the team by ensuring all incoming calls are dealt with correctly, and in a professional and courteous manner. You will also take responsibility for a variety of other ad-hoc administrative tasks on a daily basis. This position is working for a business that operate in a prestige industry, so you will ideally possess the ability to deal with high level clientele, ensuring you are aligning with the level of service expected.Receptionist & Administrator Responsibilities: Deal with phone calls in a professional and timely manner. Logging customer queries onto the internal system. Monitoring the business email inbox and distributing to team members as required. Processing and distributing customer quotations. Manage and update business spreadsheets accurately and efficiently. Monitor out of hours telephone voicemail inbox. Booking travel and accommodation when required. Maintaining internal office supplies. Deal with and organise post. Preparing meeting rooms for visitors and board meetings. Ad-hoc marketing administration duties. Assisting with daily health and safety checks.Skills Required as Receptionist & Administrator: Good computer skills. Professional telephone manner. Strong IT skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High levels of attention to detail. Organisation skills.In return you will receive a salary of £21,000 per annum but will also receive access to a profit share scheme which should take your total year earnings to £24,500. Upon completion of contract there is prospect of joining the business on a permanent basis, dependent on their recruitment requirements.
