SalaryHeyland Senior Finance are pleased to be partnering with this impressive local business in their search for a Finance Business Partner. The business has evolved and grown via significant recent acquisitions and has become one of the market leaders in its field in the UK. Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, the role is responsible for:
- The production and integrity of internal and external management reporting ensuring they remain relevant and in line with industry best practice
- To act as primary financial Business Partner to the Sector Operations Director
- To act as primary financial contact with General Management and Operations team
- Oversee production of the weekly management reporting including presentation of the results with explanation on variances to plan to GM, Operational Director and Operational Team.
- Oversee production of the weekly client management reporting including presentation of the results with explanation on variances to plan to client management
- Oversee month end close and production of the sectors monthly reporting pack (both P&L and Balance Sheet)
- Oversee month end close and production of the monthly reporting packs
- Quarterly forecast process, presentation of results to Operations Director
- All aspects of the annual budget process ensuring that results are delivered to the timetable set by Group
- Financial Business Partner to the Operations Director supporting them in all financial aspects of his business
- Management of financial risk including sign off of contracted new business streams and support of aged debt recovery
- Development of the financial reporting suite to ensure that it meets the businesses requirements and represents industry best practice
- Head up financial projects
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA) with experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment. You will be a good communicator coupled with excellent analytical skills (MS Excel) and a proven ability to influence the wider business.
