A Finance Business Partner is sought by a particularly exciting brand name live entertainment business who are growing domestically and who have earmarked two new international markets to expand into. The newly created position of Finance Business Partner will help build and embed the FP&A and Business Partnering function. The role is particularly varied and will see the postholder...
* Build the FP&A function by creating & owning new finance models to form an effective forecasting process.
* Produce analysis on spend (actual v budget); work with budget holders to understand key drivers.
* Act as a Business Partner to Marketing, Ticketing and other commercial functions by;
* providing timely and accurate financial analysis of sales data and customer trends.
* working with Ticketing to understand & model the link between their sales forecasts and finance sales forecasts.
* supporting Marketing to analyse the effectiveness of their spend and provide analysis on their campaigns.
* Assist their manager in business strategy models and preparing the commercial strategy board pack where required.
* Work on a particularly broad range of ad hoc projects.
The ideal candidate for the position of Finance Business Partner will:
* Be a newly / fully qualified accountant with previous experience in a commercial, analytical role.
* Possess strong financial & analytical modelling skills (Index, Match, Indirect, Pivot Tables, Sum If etc)
* Demonstrate a confident, personable approach to Business Partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders alike.
* Have a passion for working in a start-up environment where processes need to be established.
* Thrive in a busy, fast-paced role with operational and financial challenges plenty.
Salary: £54000 - £60000 + 10% bonus + benefits
