SalaryPartner Financial are collaborating with a market leading Consumer business that offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure across a complex matrix organisation, whilst they embark on a period of significant change and transformation programmes. Operating within a global market and a highly dynamic environment, the business has grown significantly over the years due to their customer focus and strong product offering.
The role reports into the Senior Finance Business Partner and will focus on leading the financial and business performance, providing detailed and insightful analysis of risks and market opportunities, to drive the commercial decision making process.
The Role:
- Supporting line management teams to drive optimal finance/business decisions by Business Partnering with key stakeholders
- Taking part in decision making actions that maximise cash generation / minimise cash outflow, to drive business value activities
- Driving value through commercial insight, analysis and market knowledge
- Understanding the financial performance of the business whilst identifying risks and opportunities and providing recommendations
- Providing detailed commentary, with variance analysis for the monthly board pack
- Maintaining relevant data records to run accurate reports and create detailed analysis
- Business partnering with local business areas to deliver financial planning, budgeting & forecasting
The ideal candidate:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven ability to distil complex technical information into clear simple messages to non-finance specialists
- Highly inquisitive and organised with the ability to work to work on multiple pieces of work, with multiple deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise own deliverables under time pressure
